I particularly like this one because I got to introduce you to Particle Systems. When I first learned about it on the Coding Train, I thought it was such a powerful concept.
The term Particle System was first coined in the making of the Genesis Effect in the film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982). William T. Reeves, a researcher at Lucasfilm, described it as:
“A particle system is a collection of many many minute particles that together represent a fuzzy object. Over a period of time, particles are generated into a system, move and change from within the system, and die from the system.”
It is a very powerful and commonly used technique in simulating lots of effects in computer graphics. The floodgate has opened so be ready for more particle systems tutorials!

Birthday is a great time for a reflection. This past year was a big year for me as I made a switch in my career to give this whole online business in the creative coding space a try.
I am so happy I did.
One year seems like a short amount of time, but it is more than enough to see progress. Most importantly, I am still having a TON of fun.
